Close Connections
Close Connections is a card game company that fosters connection and community through conversation for Gen Z and Millennials. We use communication theory to ground our game content, operating off the belief that organic, genuine relationships will be built after people have a low stakes, yet dynamic tool to spark connection. Through facilitating connection at primary connection points such as friendship, professional networking, dating, self reflection and (more), we ultimately aim to restore and revitalize human connection.
Close Friends Game
Close Friends, our debut product, uses humor and the taboo to spark conversation with people you just met and your bestest friends. There are three carefully crafted levels, each increasing in difficulty based on relational closeness: green for icebreakers, gray for deepening relationships, and black for the raunchy. By playing through each level, you'll build rapport and work up to learning the risqué and obscure details of each players lives, ultimately learning the good, bad, and the raunchy of your friend's lives and leaving with a more holistic view of each player with conversations to explore later.
